Poker Event Branding & Campaign
888 Poker | 888 Holdings | 2018
The Grand Hand

Overview
The Grand Hand was a poker event campaign developed at 888 Holdings in 2018. The project was driven by the 888 Poker CRM team, with whom I collaborated closely to shape the creative direction.
As the design lead, my responsibility was to translate our shared concept into a full visual identity and campaign system that could work across branding, web, and digital promotion.
The deliverables included:
-
Event logo design.
-
Stadium visual concept.
-
Landing page design.
-
Banners for CRM-led promotion.
-
Motion graphics for teasers and ads.
The Challenge
The CRM team needed The Grand Hand to feel like a prestigious, high-energy poker event that would excite players and drive engagement.
The goals were to:
-
Capture the grand scale of the event through logo and visual identity.
-
Create a stadium concept that gave the event a “big stage” atmosphere.
-
Develop landing page designs and promotional banners that worked seamlessly with the campaign identity.
-
Translate the visual style into motion graphics to boost awareness across digital channels.

Logo & Visual Concept
-
The logo combined poker-inspired elements with a premium, event-style aesthetic.
-
The stadium design gave the campaign depth, placing the player in the center of an immersive, competitive environment.
-
Typography and gradients were designed to echo both prestige and the adrenaline of live poker.
