Overview
All your streaming. One hub.
Stream is a concept app that unifies multiple streaming services into a single hub.
Designed to simplify browsing, discovery, and sharing.
The Challenge
Stream is a showcase project created at Hunica, my co-founded design studio. Originally ideated during a UI/UX program at Netcraft (2020), it was refined in 2024 as a full case study — reimagined as an end-to-end product experience.
This project focuses on three key goals:

Problem & Goal
With so many streaming services, users often spend more time searching than watching. The challenge: design a hub that centralizes libraries, makes browsing effortless, and enables sharing with friends.
Goal: Deliver a simple, bold, and fun experience that feels both familiar and fresh.

Core Screens
Splash & Onboarding

A guided setup helps users select services, choose genres, and receive tailored recommendations.
Main Experience

A streamlined hub with trending titles, personalized picks, quick search, and detailed movie info.
Social Layer

Lightweight social features let users see what friends are watching and share movies directly.
Design System
Stream’s identity is anchored in a purple–pink gradient, chosen for energy and recognizability, paired with dark backgrounds for clarity.
Manrope is used throughout Stream’s UI. Its bold, simple typography keeps focus on titles and actions, while buttons follow a gradient accent style to maintain a cohesive look across screens.
Conclusion
Stream was an opportunity to explore how design can reduce streaming fatigue and create value through personalization and social sharing.
Looking ahead, the concept could expand with:
